By using CV Buddy, you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms are written in plain language to explain how the service may be used and the responsibilities of both CV Buddy and its users.
CV Buddy is a browser-based tool for creating CVs and resumes. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose.
You retain ownership of the information and content you enter into CV Buddy, including your name, contact information, education, employment history, projects, skills, publications, and other CV content.
CV Buddy is currently designed so that the CV information you enter is stored locally in your browser rather than in a CV Buddy cloud database. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important CV data.
CV Buddy is designed to produce clean, text-based CVs with common ATS-friendly formatting practices. However, we do not guarantee that a CV will pass every applicant tracking system, recruitment platform, employer requirement, or institutional requirement.
Using CV Buddy does not guarantee an interview, employment, admission, scholarship, fellowship, funding, or any other professional or academic outcome. Decisions are made by employers, universities, organisations, and other third parties.
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of CV Buddy over time. We may also introduce new features or optional paid features in the future.
These Terms of Use may be updated as CV Buddy develops. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will indicate when the terms were most recently revised.
